Live album suggestion

Post  Hecno on Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:31 pm

What we could do as a group is cull our respective libraries and try to recreate his albums from live recordings. Its an involved task but it something if we have enough people could lead to an interesting result.

Yea I've seen this done many times with the pearl jam albums too. Not a bad idea, it would mean we would have to pick the best versions of each of his songs ever recorded Smile not an easy challenge! But would be fun!

Ohhhhhh some come to mind so quickly!!! Like Amen Omen, from Live at the Hollywood Bowl, Where Could I Go from Massey Hall, Toronto, 09/29/07, and the first rendition of Keep It Together I ever heard, which unfortunately didn't come with any date or location info. But trust me, it's the tops.

I will be thinking about this all the time now when I listen to the bootlegs I have.

Trouble is some of my favorite takes come from bootlegs with shitty audio quality. Wouldn't make much of a compilation CD Razz
